Once in a Lifetime

Once in a Lifetime

I have learned that every dog is a once in a lifetime dog. You never have the same bond with one as you did another. Dogs – like people – are individuals. Once they’ve touched your heart, they can never be replaced. – Samantha Sivils

  1. So true. We love our Dunbar with all of our hearts and can’t imagine his not being part of our family! He is our boy. However, we will never forget our Rosie. She will always be with us in our hearts, There are still times when we feel like she is in the room with us. Just wish Dunny and Rosie had had a chance to know each other.

    1. I didn’t realize you were Dunbar’s family!! 🙂 It makes me so happy that he got such a GREAT home. He was one of my daughter’s favorites! Rhett and Boon would’ve HATED each other as both want my undivided attention. Rhett was the dog I needed during that season of my life – he offered a friendship that guided me through a trying time. And Boon is definitely the one for this new season – he’s a big goofball and brings me so much joy. I’m so glad to have had them both!!
